Why refurbishing pays off

Wear on the forming surfaces can push the finished point outside tolerance while the die body remains sound. Inspection determines whether regrinding can restore the required geometry without compromising the remaining material.

Refurbishment aims to restore useful service life when the body and remaining dimensions permit. Actual results depend on blank material, forming load, alignment, lubrication and wear depth; assess the repaired die by trial production.

Ship the dies to us
Once we confirm it can be done, send the dies to our factory in Dongguan.

We regrind and ship back
We regrind the cutting edges, restore the geometry the drill point forming needs, and send the dies back to you.
